Ordered a rear bumper, asked to be sent a picture of it as apprehensive to buy something I haven't seen. Was denied and repeatedly told their garage was busy and they are 5-star so I should trust them. I asked if the bumper was fitting the car details that I gave them, they repeatedly ensured it was so I ordered. I then asked them to send a picture of the bumper when it was going out to get re-painted (included in the cost), they said no, too busy. Asked them for a picture once they got it back, bearing in mind a full week has now passed since I paid for it. They sent a picture as it was being packaged and sent to me, looking in good condition but not showing all angles. I received it, booked in for mechanic to fit it, only to be told as it was being fitted that it is the wrong part, paint is already starting to peel off and sensors are the incorrect one. I had to pay for the service as they spent time removing bumper and trying to fit new one. I called MJM only to be told that I must have been the one that peeled the paint and that it is my fault, which was baffling to hear. I kept pushing and sent them videos and pictures of the condition of the rear bumper when they finally admitted that the paint was in a horrible condition and that the people that had been painting their car parts had been messing up recently. I asked for a full refund and that they collect the bumper and that this wouldn't have happened if they sent me a picture as I had asked. They then told me that they only send pictures AFTER the purchase is made. This was something that would've been easily avoided if I had been given a picture showing me the sensors and paint job from the start. Even the refund process was a pain as I had to ask them everyday if they have processed the refund, only doing so a full week after they said they would. Only thing I can give as a positive is that I was able to contact them and ended up getting my refund.

I called to check exactly what to expect, and was told that the Navara tailgate I wanted to order would be freshly painted and "as good as new". What arrived was really scrappy. Paint runs, two corners had no paint on them at all, the inside of the tailgate was very poorly painted with the old colour showing through in patches. In December when it arrived I had to pay a body shop £100 to repair it. I complained in December. Today on 31 Jan I finally got a response, they are washing their hands of it. I wish I'd read the reviews first. After ordering a Transfer Box for a BMW X3, it arrived and was wrong. Called up the office, and was continuously told that the lady on reception would call me back. After 6/7 calls, I was put onto the 'owner'. He tried to tell me that he couldn't understand why my part was wrong, despite me taking pictures proving that it was wrong and part numbers that didn't match (I offered to give our part number when ordering, but they said they didn't need it). He said he was bored of the conversation, and that we should send the box back and he would refund us. We did this, and when we tried to get our refund, the same 'owner' that I'd previously spoken to told me he didn't have means of issuing a refund, and that we had sent back the incorrect part with a different flange on it. Well... that is not the case, they are just finding every excuse not to issue a refund. ABSOLUTE SCAM. The rudest company I have ever dealt with. I learnt an expensive lesson, and if I could give minus star ratings, I certainly would.

I used MJM because they responded to a request from a parts finder website for a bumper for my car, they had the exact one I needed, identical to mine, hard to locate on a 14 year old 4x4. I called them and spoke to a very helpful lady (C) who sent me pictures of the donor vehicle and I confirmed the part I wanted and actually added a couple of other parts from the vehicle also. Paid my money and all was good. Were that to be the whole story I would have awarded more stars to them, but the process post order could be improved somewhat, and I hope MJM take this on board. I never received any kind of receipt or acknowledgement of my order, I was unaware when the parts might arrive. I wasn't unduly concerned initially because at the end of the day its not John Lewis, it's car parts. Anyway a week passed with no sign of any parts or communication, I chased them up with messages and phone calls and their responses seemed pretty vague and non committal, they could not confirm if the parts had been sent, by whom or when they might arrive. So this goes on for a few days and i'm starting to think something was amiss here and thinking the worst, I had no receipt, no shipper details to track the package, nothing really. Anyway to conclude, the parts did arrive 10 days later and they are pretty good for what I paid for them, no issues at all there. Had MJM kept me in the loop with when the parts would arrive and supplied me with a receipt and shipping details, I would rate the service as excellent. I do hope MJM take this as constructive criticism, customer service is super important and those small improvements would have transformed my experience. I would buy with them again however, because despite the shortcomings in this situation, there are mitigating factors, such as COVID and home working and system issues which could mean I didn't experience their best service on this occasion.
